We are looking for a sales savvy professional who is driven, self motivated and hungry for success. You will be solution focused and have a strong network within the Perth Metro Region with a proven track record in building new business and strong account management. 


Reporting to the State Business Development Manager, you will be based in the Support office located in Balcatta with occasional regional travel. 


About you..


You will be a highly motivated, target focused and an expert negotiator. Your drive and passion to successfully identify, negotiate and win business opportunities will be the key to success in this exciting and challenging role. Specifically, you will have;

  • Have over 3 years of professional business development sales experience
  • Proven track record within the building/construction industry with a strong network.
  • Strong communication skills and an exceptional ability to develop long term relationships 
  • A hunter who is confident, enthusiastic and has a proven track record of smashing targets

About the Job


The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new revenue opportunities and building relationships with existing and new accounts.


You will be dealing directly with our customers and providing solutions to their equipment hire needs. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Plan & present tailored solutions based on customers needs
  • Prospect for new customers and convert this to increase business
  • Grow & retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions to customers
  • Establish & build solid relationships with all customers
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of the market & product solutions we can provide
  • Assist with the development of monthly sales forecasts/pipelines
  • Developing sales and marketing strategies
  • Providing exceptional customer service in all interactions
  • Effectively manage relationships and business objectives with key accounts through the development and implementation of strategic call planning
  • Develop formal pipeline through a territory/portfolio plan
