About the role

The Digital Marketing Co-ordinator is responsible for implementing the digital marketing strategy across a range of digital channels to enhance the digital presence, brand awareness and customer engagement and deliver growth and profitability to stakeholders.

The key role responsibilities include:

  • Plan out the social media calendar in Sprout based on guidance from Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing team
  • Create and optimise posts using a suite of online tools. Target and amplify posts knowing the differences between social channels and how they align with our personas.
  • Report on all social media using various tools
  • Working with our communications team to implement internal and external email campaigns, ensuring effective communication with customers and stakeholders to increase customer engagement
  • Using Google Analytics, social channels and working with our internal business analysts to report how we progressing towards our goals
  • Assist in campaign work, sponsorships and promotions as needed
  • Support the Marketing Team as opportunities arise
  • Web Editing and Publishing - make changes to content on the website with guidance from Digital Marketing Manager, Online Channel Manager & Marketing team

About you

  • Diploma or Degree qualified in Marketing or a related field
  • Experience in a digital marketing role with exposure to a broad range of digital channels
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of digital marketing reporting including but not limited to Google Analytics
  • Previous experience in delivering work and projects outlined in a content media plan
  • In depth understanding of social media channels including: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Strong communication skills including writing ad copy, email copy, social media copy and the ability to engage with customers on social media
  • Previous experience with a content management system for web editing
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Strong time management skills and a self-driven attitude
