What does this role do?

 

The role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers by way of building relationships over the phone, email or other channels. The primary function of this role is to determine customers’ needs and to provide them with quoting solutions that best suit their requirements.

  • Outbound calls to demonstrate how equipment or services meet their needs
  • Create and submit Quote’s in a professional and timely manner
  • Follow up on previously submitted Quotes.
  • Create, modify and finalise hire contracts
  • Manage rehires
  • Handling compliments and complaints
  • Assist as a point of contact for any and all matters specific to our customers’ needs
  • Outbound sales calls to customers to confirm orders for services, collect information or follow up on submitted quotes.

 

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a quoting and/or customer service call centre role
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Sound problem solving skills and the ability to negotiate outcomes with stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multi task with high attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work and an ability to adapt to change
  • Genuine desire to be part of a high performing team environment
  • Experience handling customer enquiries through email, phone, web chat, social media or other channels would be an advantage

This is a full-time role involving a 45-hour working week based on a rotating flexible roster.
