About the team

You will be part of the group wide Business Development function across Australia and New Zealand, designed to optimise opportunities for Kennards Hire and make our customers job easy and creating raving fans, by providing them with the solutions they need, when and where they need them.

About the role

As the Area Sales Representative, you will be focused on prospecting new business within the Perth Metro area by identifying, winning and retaining business. Your responsibilities are but not limited to;

  • Drive revenue growth across all products for the Kennards Hire branches within your area
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stand-alone projects within your area
  • Drive local area campaigns and initiatives in collaboration with Branch Managers and the Local Area Marketing Team.
  • Establish relationships with new customers creating new contacts and accounts
  • Communicate competitive insights within geographic area
  • Support business development initiatives and capability development across the branch network
  • Establish and deliver on a plan to target untapped potential across all unallocated customers within all markets
  • Assist with the development of monthly sales forecasts/pipelines
  • Analyse, review and recommend pricing structures and quotes for new accounts

About you

You are a self driven sales professional with a strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships. You thrive in a fast paced environment that offers support, training and an amazing work culture. you will also have;

  • Have a minimum of 2-years sales experience with a track record of delivering exceptional results
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
  • Be able to implement company defined strategies and goals, but equally contribute to the development of account strategies.
  • Be able to quickly grasp and understand technical concepts and product benefits for often highly technical products.
  • Be results oriented and committed to winning business through exceptional customer service.
  • Be well organized with high attention to detail, coupled with excellent territory and time management skills.
  • Be highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels but especially with key decision makers and influencers
